Reproduction is the most fundamental feature of all living organisms from simple unicellular prokaryotes to multicellular eukaryotes. The term reproduction generally means reproduce. Such a process through which new individual organisms i.e offspring are produced from the parent and offspring are biologically similar to their parents.

Reproduction is the biological process in which the organisms involved in the production of new organisms i.e. offspring. The organisms that are involved and responsible for the process are called as a parent. So, reproduction is a basic fundamental characteristic of all living matter. There are two types of reproductional process, which are asexual and sexual reproduction.

In asexual production is possible through one parent organism only.	In this type of reproduction, always need two parents and both are involved in this process.
