Person who has not vaccinated is more prone to the chickenpox infection. Human immunodeficiency virus includes retrovirus that attacks the body’s natural defense system. The symptoms caused by this virus cause AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome). It makes the immune system weak and makes people more prone to infections. Retrovirus controls the machinery of the DNA and processes viral DNA in the body of the infected person. It destroys the more CD4 cells and makes more copies of itself. HIV can be transmitted through sweat, saliva, urine or mainly passed through unprotected sex. Prevention of infection can be done by using condoms, clean needles and syringes and taking proper treatment during pregnancy. Antiretroviral treatment is effective to treat the infection and help humans to enjoy long and healthy lives.
Note:
Chickenpox can lead to serious complications such as bacterial infections of the skin, dehydration, Pneumonia, toxic shock syndrome and many more. If aspirin is taken during chickenpox infection it can cause Reye’s syndrome. HIV if left untreated, it takes 10 to 15 years to damage the immune system severely. After that, the immune system cannot defend itself. Rate of HIV progresses varies depending on age, general health and background. Antiretroviral treatment reduces the level of HIV so that it cannot pass on to other people.
