The presence of numerous organisms, plants or biodiversity make our life enjoyable and possible. There are about 320,000 plant species, most of which produce seeds. Green plants provide the majority of the world's oxygen molecules and form the basis of Earth's ecosystems. There are various factors which are responsible for diversification on plants like habitat, size, structure and nutrition.

Plants are photosynthetic and mostly multicellular organisms which are found both on land and in water.
Angiosperms show a great diversity in size and form about 45,000 of plant species found in India which represents seven percent of the world flora.
Let’s see diversity of plants due to different reasons
On the basis of habitat:

Herbs: The stem of this plant is green, soft and short. Their life expectancy is usually short. Wheat , gram.
Shrubs: There are many trees, branches and more plants than plants. Usually there are several rods, but there is no major axis. Chinese (woody)
Trees: longer or larger than bushes, hard, woody, very well developed and thick plants. They have a unique stem.
On the basis of nutrition
Autotrophic plant: Most plants are autotrophic because they are green and produce their own organic products from inorganic sources.
Heterotrophic plant: These plants get some or all of their nutrients from external sources. Heterotrophs can be parasites, parasites, symbiotic.

On the basis of life span of plants:

Ephemeral: Plants finish their life in a very short time before reaching true dryness. Example-Argemon mexicana, Solanum xanthocarpum.
Annuals: It dies after completing its life cycle within a year and producing seeds such as wheat, rice and grams.
Biennials: This plant completes its life cycle in two years. In the first year, only plant growth is observed, and in the second - flowers, fruits and seeds. This plant usually consists of herbs such as radish, sugar beets, and carrots.
Perennial Plant: long shelf life and lives for many years after growth. The large banana tree (Ficus bengalensis) in the Calcutta Botanical Garden is over two hundred years old. Most of the perennials have reached once.
On the basis of size
Members of the genus have a large difference in size. Aquatic lemonades are very small in diameter.
The tallest angiosperm plant is Eucalyptus regnans. Its height is over hundred meters.

Plant diversity can increase insect diversity. This is primarily because plants and insects evolve with secondary chemicals. Most of the secondary chemicals found in plants, such as alkaloids, terpenoids, and flavonoids, are toxic to most animals, but there are times when insects of this type are resistant to secondary chemicals.
This gives insects the ability to eat what other insects cannot, and then specializes in eating one type of plant. Many insects eat only one or a few plant species. Other herbivores tend to be less specific in their diet. They prefer different types of plants, but rarely limit their diet to one type of plant. Thus, a variety of plant species can cause a variety of insects, but not necessarily a variety of other animals.
