Why is it not appropriate to use the term involuntary actions of various reflexes occurring in the human body?

Explanation

Solution

If we touch a heated object or something which is causing pain to us. We quickly remove our finger or hand from that particular object, because we have learnt it from our previous experiences, that it can actually cause harm to the body part. Involuntary activities in our body are all those activities in our body that happens without our conscience

Complete answer: Involuntary activities in our body are all those activities in our body that happen without our conscience. Like the beating of the heart, movement of the diaphragm, breathing process and multiple different functions of the body. If we are asleep or awake, our heart will continue to beat, irrespective of our, we can stop it even if we want.
But reflex actions are different from that. If we find a mosquito sucking blood from our body we have a tendency to hit it instantly, but a person who does not have knowledge or idea about mosquitoes will not do the same because the brain is not having any previous experience or knowledge about it.
But the involuntary activities of the bodies will always continue in the body of a person, even if the person is mentally retarded.

Note:
The consciousness or the rational part of the mind is not responsible for the involuntary activities but is somewhat important for the reflex activities done by the brain or spinal cord, because the reflex actions require some rational thinking too.
If a small child with less experience goes near a heated object and touches it, that particular experience will develop a permanent information in the mind of the child, that not to touch such objects which causes harm. This is how the conscious mind is associated with the reflex actions.
