Why does the lost child lose interest in the things that he had wanted earlier?
Answer
Because he was so terrified of being away from his parents, the lost child lost interest in the things he had previously desired. His only desire was to join them. He no longer finds anything appealing about the fair as he understands that getting together with his parents is more essential.
