Ozone is the barrier for the ultraviolet rays that comes from the sun. These ultraviolet rays are very harmful to the health of the human body.

Due to the depletion of the stratosphere layer the ozone layer present in this layer also gets depleted. And due to this depletion of the ozone layer ultraviolet rays from the sun can enter the earth’s atmosphere easily. These ultraviolet rays can cause mutation in the cell and change the structure of the genetic due to which they have some structural deformity and also functional deformity. These ultraviolet rays cause mutations in the eye cells and adversely affect the eye, they can change the shape and size of the rod cells and the cone cells which are present on the retina of the eye which is responsible for the vision of the eye.
