What steps would you suggest for the judicious use of fossil fuels?

Explanation

Solution

Hint : Fossil fuels are basically made by the decomposition of plants and animals. These are found in the earth's crust and contain carbon and hydrogen which can be burned for energy in the form of fuel. Coal, oil, petrol are the examples of fossil fuels.

Complete Step By Step Answer:
Fossil fuels are the decomposed plants and animals which burn to produce energy. Now these compounds contain carbon and hydrogen which burn and form carbon dioxide and other harmful gases like methane which are released in the environment. The environment has been polluted from the very start of the industrial revolution. The environment is so polluted that the difference can be seen in our day to day lives. The winters are colder than the previous and the summers are warmer than the last. This is due to global warming. The chloroform carbons get trapped in the atmosphere and make it difficult for the sun to reach us. Due to this there is a shift in the natural flow of seasons and the differences can be seen even now.
Therefore, there is a need to have a judicious use of fossil fuels.
The steps we can follow are: -
Try using fossil fuel only when necessary, like taking a bicycle for short distance work, save electricity, and try carpooling.
Use of natural gas is also a good alternative. The reason for this is that it has increased in the last few years and also it has very few pollutants.
Best alternative to this is the use of renewable resources, which are the resources that get replenished on their own. Egg solar panels, windmills to generate electricity.

Note :
Renewable resources are an industry which is expanding recently at a very high rate these days. India has a very vast resources to use their renewable resources. From the run of Kutch to big rivers, we have all the things to make the transition to a carbon less nature.
