Kidney is the excretory organ and used for the metabolic process to eliminate necessary toxic materials which are harmful for the body. Kidneys are the beans-shaped or J-shaped structures having three structures aligned from the kidneys to make the excretory products passing through tubules to the urethra.

Their excretion mode is similar to mammals. Amphibians and mammals excrete urea hence, they were ureotelic animals. They adapted such a process to conserve water, as ammonia is highly toxic.
