Then the harvesting is done once the crop is matured. In this process, threshing is done. Threshing is a process in which the edible grains are removed from the matured crop or the straw. In this, the crop is made to strike against a wooden bar or a big stone which causes removal of the grain. This type of removal requires lots of manual labor. Threshing needs to be done after the harvest of the crop. If threshing is delayed by some time then it may lead to the decaying of the grains inside their pods, which would cause loss to the farmer. So threshing is an important activity that needs to be done after harvesting is done.
