- Membrane biogenesis: The synthesis of biological membrane components is called membrane biogenesis. Biological membranes are mainly composed of glycolipids, phospholipids like polar lipids. There are also many proteins present in the membrane. These are called glycoproteins. The structure of lipids is clearly described by fluid mosaic models of biological membranes.

- The process of biogenesis of cellular membranes is a completely dynamic process. In some emergencies, the membrane lipids and membrane proteins are sometimes replaced by other proteins or lipids. The lipid bulk presents a fluid matrix by which the protein can rotate by itself and can diffuse. In the presence of lipid shells, high membrane fluidity adapts the proteins that consist of lipids that are tightly bound.
