RNA polymerase producing DNA
a cell displaying a foreign antigen used for synthesis of antigens
production of somaclonal variants in tissue cultures.
when a piece of RNA that is complementary in sequence is used to stop expression of a specific gene
Solution
Antisense technology is a process by which a piece of RNA that is complementary in sequence to /77RNA is used to stop expression of a specific gene. In this process antisense cDNA are cloned and transfected into cells. Antisense wRNA is synthesized by transcription. This readily bind with specific wRNA and block translation. The other way to block translation is to directly introduce antisense RNA into the cells. This hybridizes with target /wRNA and blocks translation.
