A
Rs. 2100
B
Rs. 2300
C
Rs. 2350
D
Rs. 2250
Answer
Rs. 2300
Explanation
Solution
Let Roshan's C.P. be p rupees.
Profit =15% of p=203p
S.P. =p+203p=2023p
Profit % on S.P.
(203p×23p20×100)%=(23300)%
Let S.P. of each be x rupees. Then
(25% of x)−(23300% of x)=275
⇒ 23275x= 27500
⇒ x==27527500×23=2300
∴ Selling price is 2300 rupees
The correct option is (B): Rs. 2300
