Triple antigen vaccine is not used for typhoid. Triple antigen vaccine (e.g. DPT) is used against 3 diseases at a time diptheria, tetanus and pertussis. But typhoid vaccine is used separately. For adults, 2 doses each of 0.5 ml typhoid vaccine are given subcutaneously at an interval of 4-6 weeks.
