For horizontal equilibrium $\frac { m g \sin \theta \cos \theta } { M + m \cos ^ { 2 } \theta }$

$= \frac { W } { \sin 45 ^ { \circ } } \cos 45 ^ { \circ }$ = W

and for the critical condition T₂ = F
