Question
Physics Question on P-N Junction
The input signal given to a CE amplifier having a voltage gain of 150 is vi=2cos(15t+3π) The corresponding output signal will be
A
2cos(15t+65π)
B
300cos(15t+34π)
C
300cos(15t+3π)
D
75cos(15t+32π)
Answer
300cos(15t+34π)
Explanation
Solution
Here,
Input signal, v1=2cos(15t+3π) and voltage gain, Av = 150
As Av=ViV0
∴ Output signal, V0=AvVi
Since CE amplifier gives a phase difference of π(=180∘) between input and output signals.
∴V0=150[2cos(15t+3π+π)]
=300cos(15t+34π)
