line graph shows the yearly sales figure for a manufacturing company

Answer

(a)
(i) In 20022002, the sales were Rs 44 crores.
(ii) In 20062006, the sales were Rs 88 crores.

(b)
(i) In 20032003, the sales were Rs 77 crores.
(ii) In 20052005, the sales were Rs 1010 crores.

(c)
(i) In 20022002, the sales were Rs 44 crores and in 20062006, the sales were Rs 88 crores.
Difference between the sales in 20022002 and 20062006
= Rs (84)(8 - 4) crores
= Rs 44 crores

(d) Difference between the sales of the year 20062006 and 20052005
= Rs (108)(10 - 8) crores = Rs 22 crores
Difference between the sales of the year 20052005 and 20042004
= Rs (106)(10 - 6) crores
= Rs 44 crores
Difference between the sales of the year 20042004 and 20032003
= Rs (76)(7 - 6) crore = Rs 11 crore
Difference between the sales of the year 20032003 and 20022002
= Rs (74)(7 - 4) crores = Rs 33 crores

Hence, the difference was the maximum in the year 20052005 as compared to its previous year 20042004.
