These are the celiac artery, the superior mesenteric artery, the inferior mesenteric artery, the renal arteries and the iliac arteries.
Abdominal aorta or Descending aorta is divided into two major branches. The right one is the Right common iliac artery and the left one is the Left common iliac artery. Both of these common iliac arteries are further divided into external iliac arteries and internal iliac arteries.
