- Sweat glands in our body are also called sudoriferous glands. They are the tubular structures present beneath the skin that produce sweat.
- The excess of water in our body releases via water when the temperature of the body rises. So that is why we sweat when in the sun or while doing heavy physical activity. When the temperature of the body rises, the body sweats to cool itself.

Over sweating will release the water from the body which is also not required. So the optimum level of sweating is needed to just cool down the body.
