Bone marrow is specialized type of soft, diffuse connective tissue called myeloid tissue . It is composed of adipose tissue, areolar tissue and blood. In bone marrow basically red bone marrow which is red in colour due to presence of lot of blood vessels. Produces all blood corpuscles and it acts as haemopoietic tissue. Yellow bone marrow is mainly stored fats.
