Studying of resins, Resin is a viscous substance of a plant that can be converted into polymers. It's an organic compound which oozes out from the bark of a tree when it gets wounded. The resin protects the plant from insects. Resins are made up of terpenes mostly. They also have resin acids in them. Amber is an example of plant resin.
