Human evolution is the evolutionary process directed to the development of anatomically modern humans. Theories just like 'The Origin of Species’ by Darwin proposed that humans emerged from the apes that lived within the African territories which were verified through the study of the 3-4 million old Australopithecus fossils.

Approximately about 7 crore years back the ice age started on the planet. In such situations, dinosaurs became lost. The evolution and diversity of mammals began during this point. Due to the variation in climate, the forest cover also diminished quickly. Ancestors of monkey-like animals were lemur-like animals that developed through this period of time. The tails of those monkey-like animals began fading very gradually almost 4 crore years ago. The body and brain both grew in volume making fist ape-like animals. The monkey-like ancestors gave origin to 2 evolutionary connections to apes and human-like animals. Later human evolution occurs through a change in the brain volume, the capability to walk upright, extreme usage of the hand for manipulations. This journey of human evolution started 7 crore years ago. But actual wise and intelligent man began around 50,000 years ago.

Man originated through several stages:
Dryopithecus : it's the earliest known ancestor of man. They were presented in some regions of Africa, Asia, and Europe. The evolution of man began from him. Dryopithecus was followed by Australopithecus.
Australopithecus : These were 1.2 meters tall and will walk upright. They inhabited the African mainland. They had large jaws and human-like teeth.
Homo habilis: They were five feet tall and could make use of tools and were thought to be able to speak.
Homo erectus : They were more evolved beings. They were also upright and had a bigger brain size. They had a prominent speech. They invented fire and were carnivorous.
Neanderthals: Homo sapiens is the only extant species of hominin around today, but a couple of thousand years ago, there have been a couple of other species that existed alongside anatomically modern humans – the Neanderthals,
Homo sapiens : These are modern men. They developed the facility of thinking, used tools, were omnivorous, and produced art. Their brain size reduced to 1300 cc.
