Question: Name the law shown in the figure. Label 1 and 2 according to this law. , as seen in the diagram. The thumb relative to the magnetic field is pointed in the direction of the conductor's motion. Label 1 represents the first finger in the direction of the magnetic field (North-South). The second finger then represented by label 2 shows the direction of the electrical power induced or produced within the conductor (from + to -, the lower electrical potential terminal into the terminal with a higher voltage potential).
Note: Fleming’s right hand rule also stands for FBI, where “F” represents the thumb which shows the Force or Conductor motion, “B” represented by the first finger is the symbol for the magnetic field and “I” is the symbol for current which is represented by the second finger. And we should not confuse between the left hand and right hand rule. The left hand rule is used for electric motors and the right hand rule is used for electric generators.
