The airborne disease includes any disease that is caused by airborne microbes or any airborne pathogenic organisms. It mainly occurs through breathing. At the time of breathing, the pathogenic organisms take shelter inside our body and thus affect the body. When the people who are dealing with cough, throat secretions, or other infections take a breath in the air, the disease can also be spread from them. There are several airborne diseases that affect human health and sometimes become very difficult to control them. These include-

-Influenza:
Influenza is a rapidly spreading airborne disease that is commonly known as flu. The effect of it continues till 5-8days. Sometimes the body makes immunity itself to prevent the disease.

-Smallpox or chickenpox:
Mainly varicella-zoster virus causes chickenpox. To develop the disease, it only takes 21days even after exposure.

-Mumps and measles:
These are viral contagious diseases and affect the muscles and remain active for 2-3hours.
Several other airborne diseases are pertussis, TB (tuberculosis), Diphtheria etc.
