Answer

(i) 250400\frac{250}{400}

Greatest Common Factor of 250 and 400 is 50.

250400÷5050\frac{250 }{ 400} ÷ \frac{50 }{ 50} = 58\frac{5 }{ 8}

(i)(d)(i)\equiv(d)

Two more equivalent fractions are 58×32=1516\frac{5 }{ 8} × \frac{3 }{ 2} = \frac{15 }{ 16} and 58×33=1524\frac{5 }{ 8} × \frac{3 }{3} = \frac{15 }{ 24}.


(ii) 180400\frac{180}{400}

Greatest Common Factor of 180 and 200 is 20.

180400\frac{180}{400} ÷ 2020\frac{20 }{ 20} = 910\frac{9 }{ 10}

Two more equivalent fractions are 910×32=2720\frac{9 }{10} ×\frac{ 3}{ 2} = \frac{27 }{ 20} and 910×33=2730\frac{9 }{ 10} × \frac{3 }{3} = \frac{27 }{ 30}.

Greatest Common Factor of 660 and 990 is 330.

Greatest Common Factor of 180 and 360 is 18.

Greatest Common Factor of 220 and 550 is 110.
