Mammals are most adapted among the vertebrates. Elaborate.
Solution
As we know, vertebrates are the animals which have a spinal cord surrounded by bone or cartilage, that is why we call it vertebrates which means having a vertebral column. Animals which do not possess the vertebral column or spine (commonly) are termed to be invertebrates. Vertebrates include birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. Mammals are considered to be the highest in hierarchy order.
Complete Explanation:
Mammals are considered to be the most intelligent and active among other groups of classification of organisms. There is no doubt they are better and more complex than bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. Mammals have a high rate of reproductivity which are quite stable in the biodiversity as mostly they reproduce through sexual reproduction compared to others. Their genes carry more enhanced genetic information from the modification which have been occurring from ancient ages, also called as evolution. Mammals live or sustain more that is- their longevity is more compared to other animals.
Although, human beings are considered to be the highest order in vertebrates. Humans are mammals. They are complex organisms and the highest in order above all animals. The human body system as we know, holds a complex set of systems and each system has a different set of organs and mechanisms, requirements based on their specific activities required to perform all the daily life things or functions. Every system targets or holds its individual organ which maintains and performs the activities, which help the human body to function well.
There are various systems the human body possesses- like the major systems are- Endocrine system, Reproductive system, Integumentary system, Circulatory system and Lymphatic system. Other than the systems humans have the ability to think, walk, talk and the human brain is the most capable brain as it stores information in gigabytes.
There are a total of fourteen systems in our body such as cardiovascular system, skeletal system, reproductive system, endocrine system, digestive system, integumentary system, excretory system and so on. Each system has its own importance and without any system our body cannot perform or function well. The consequences or complications if occurs to any of these system holding organs can be fatal also resulting in loss of life.
Note:
As we discussed above about how human beings are better and higher in the classification of mammals. Mammals can be both oviparous and viviparous based on their birth type. Oviparous animals include- birds, amphibians, reptiles which lay eggs and later they hatch into young ones. Viviparous is animals which give birth directly- like human beings, dogs, cats. Mammals are said to have more brain capacity to understand and process everything.
