Pollutant are the substances which when introduced in the environment, shows their harmful effect on other resources of the environments. They are the pollution causing agents which causes water pollution when added to water bodies, pollutes air when added to the atmosphere.

Complete step by step answer: Dusts are the tiny particles of solids and liquids suspended in air. It is also known as particulate matter (PM). They are the result of soil lifting by wind, volcanic eruption and some construction works for the development.
In order to categorize dust as a pollutant it should obey some criteria:
On inhaling dust, the person should feel discomfort including symptoms of cold, cough, and allergic reactions in the body.
