In this question, two statements are given followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to consider both the statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. You have to decide which of the given conclusions is/are definitely drawn from the given statements.
Statements :
All employees of company A have identity cards.
Ram is an employee of company A.
Conclusions :
I. Ram has an identity card.
II. Ram is the General Manager of the Company.
Only I follows
Only II follows
Neither I nor II follows
Both I and II follow
Only I follows
Solution
According to the statement,
All employees of company A have identity cards. Ram is an employee of company A that's why, Ram must have the identity card so, Conclusion I follows the statement.
For Conclusion II there is no information that who is the General Manager of the company So, Conclusion II doesn't make sense hence, it doesn't follow the statement,
The correct option is (A): Only I follows
