If the theory of inheritance of acquired characters proposed by Lamark was true how will the world be?

There are many different theories of evolution that are proposed by different scientists. Darwin alone gives four theories of evolution along with Lamark.

Complete answer: The theory of Lamark is based on the principle of the physical changes that an organism goes through during their lifetime.
For example development of organs of the body could transfer to the new generation. Based on this Lamark gives two theories; a complexifying force that found in the body of an animal moves towards the higher level by forming a ladder of phyla and an adaptive force due to which animals get a body plan to survive is moved to the next generation.

This theory is based on the term acquired characteristics which means the characteristics developed during the life course in an individual due to some change in the environment and over use or disuse of a part.
These characteristics reappear in the individuals for the next few succeeding generations. If Lamarck’s proposed inheritance theory of acquired character would have been valid than offspring born later in the life of the parents would have gained character that is better and would be much more progressed than the offspring that was born earlier.
Conditions like boring of nostrils may be considered as the hereditary disease among people of India.

So, the gene set would have changed in every generation because of the acceptance of new characters.

Note: Lamark’s and Darwin's theories are different as Lamark believed that organisms changed due to necessity after there is any change in environment. But Darwin believed that organisms changed by accident before the change in environment when they were born.
