All the music is created by standing waves through the instruments. Standing wave is created by two waves of equal wavelength and frequency reinforced on each other. When two waves are reinforced then energy looks like standing waves. Standing waves occur in all wave mediums and can be said to be present in resonance. Frequency is speed of sound and amplitude is loudness so if the music is of appropriate loudness and frequency one can distinguish between two sounds.
