Here F is the force
G is the gravitational constant.
m1{m_1} is the mass of one object

h is the height.
From the above equation we can say,

Since R>>hR > > h so, the height can be neglected.
Thus, we can say, the gravity acting on a freely falling object is constant. The acceleration due to gravity is also constant.
