Solution
Biosphere, is a supporting stratum of the earth's surface which extends from a few kilometres into the atmosphere to deep vents of the ocean. The biosphere is a global ecosystem composed of living organisms (biota) and abiotic factors. There are wildlife and hurricane effects being observed which affect the biosphere with less oxygen in the atmosphere.
Complete Explanation:
Plants bear different types of fruits according to climatic conditions and temperature. The soil they thrive in, the climate they adapt in, they bear fruit of the same variety. Speciation also matters as different species of the same plant variety bear different fruits in shape and sizes. For example- mango. Mangoes have different species and each species shows different color, taste and ripening period.
a) Spiny fruits- fruits which have spines or pointed like structures on the surface are called spiny fruits. Example- jackfruit, mulberry and breadfruits.
b) Spiny stem- plants having spines in stem are called spiny stem. Stems have spines in order to protect plants. Examples- cactus, rose and palm species.
c) red flower- flowers with red pigment like- hibiscus, rose variety, cardinal.
d) yellow flowers- flowers like- sunflower, marigold and rose variety.
e) leaves which close at night- some plant leaves close at night for prevention of water retention. Example- tulips, poppies plant and hibiscus.
f) fruits have a single seed- this is found in many fruits like- mango, peach and jackfruit.
g) fruits have many seeds- fruits having many seeds like- apples, watermelon and strawberry.
Note:
As we discussed cacti which have spiny stems. Apart from having spiny stems it is a desert plant and desert plants have the same adaptations. Replacing the lost water in desert plants is a little tougher as compared to other plants. Smaller, fewer pores than other plants with such pores hot and dry winds are also prevented by nocturnal plants, desert plants act as nocturnal plants due the discussed reason transpiration occurring during day-time.
