Wobble hypothesis:
When a single amino acid is degenerate many codons may be specified it is because of the last base in the codon. Wobble base is also called last base. Note: In wobble base pairing the pairing of the third base varies according to the base at this position. The conventional pairing is called Watson- crick pairing and the second abnormal pairing is called wobble pairing.
