These can be found everywhere from hot reservoirs to cold ice places.
They can be both prokaryotic and eukaryotic.
They can reproduce by asexual method that include fission, binary fission, or by sexual method as conjugation.

2. Budding as observed in yeast growing of bud-like structures that later fall to form new organisms.
3. Conjugation is the exchange of genetic material.
They respire through their skin by diffusion.
They have a peptidoglycan cell wall.
They move with the help of cilia or flagella. Cilia are found all over the body whereas flagella are 1-3 in number and help in whip-splash movement.
They usually consume food through phagocytosis, pinocytosis or pseudopodia.
