Explain why Boiled or distilled water tastes flat.

When water is boiled, the soluble salts like carbonates and bicarbonates can be converted into insoluble salts and float on boiled water as a white color layer. Thus, the absence of salts makes the water flat.
When distilled water is taken, it is purified by removing the impurities present in the water. The absence of impurities makes the taste of water flat.
