Light energy gets transformed in to various other forms of energy in many different processes such as Chemical energy in the process when Plants use sunlight energy and use this energy to perform various chemical processes for their life, when light energy is focussed in to some surface area it gets heated because light energy gets converted in to heat or thermal energy.
