These traits make them the ancestors of the European race. Caucasoid man people migrated to various areas of the world, thus similar facial structures are found among the Russians, Turkish people, and many Indians. Mongoloids are another outdated group of historical people whose descendants are found mainly in different parts of Asia. They are characterized by their flat face and low nasal root. This is due to the adaptation to the cold climatic conditions to reduce the surface area of the nose. They have slanting eyelids, thick and dark hair. Some other characteristics are dark eyes, yellow to brownish skin, and usually are short in height.
