- Cell- Just like atoms group together to form a molecule and then form a non living object , similarly every living organism is composed of a functional unit of life called a cell. Cells also possess the body's hereditary material and can make copies of themselves. Cells have many parts, each having a different function. Some of the parts, called organelles, are specialized structures that perform particular tasks within the cell. It provides structure and support to the body of an organism. Cells have one nucleus and membrane-bound organelles in the cytoplasm.
Based on cellular structure, they are of two types; the Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes

- Tissues- The cells of similar types join together to form a single layer called tissue. The study of the human and animal tissues is known as histology or, in connection with disease, as histopathology. For plants, the discipline is called plant anatomy. As there are many types of cells in the human body, they are organized into four main categories of tissues: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous.

- Protoplasm- As discussed earlier a cell further consists of different organelle , one of them is protoplasm which is again a collective name of cytoplasm and nucleus. It contains the genetic information of a cell or organism. Protoplasm also plays a role in controlling the activity of the cell. Also, the nucleus is the place where ribosomes, which are essential in creating proteins in the cell.

- Pseudopodia- ‘Pseudo’ stands for false and ‘podia’ stands for legs. By names it could be defined as false legs. It is this feature that gives organisms like amoeba their ability to constantly change their shape. The irregular cell shape is due to their distinctive protoplasmic streaming and their ability to form pseudopodia that deform the boundary of the cell.

Note:- Pseudopodia is only a temporary structure and is only present in eukaryotes. Amoeba uses pseudopodia to capture its food. Pseudopodia are formed due to irregular shape of the cell.
