Biology Question on human nervous system
Corpus callosum connects the two cerebral hemispheres. Association areas are responsible for complex functions like intersensory association of memory and communication.
If both assertion and reason are true and reason is the correct explanation of assertion.
If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
If assertion is true but reason is false.
If both assertion and reason are false.
If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
Solution
The cerebrum is the largest and most complex of all the parts of the human brain. It consists of left and right hemispheres connected by a large bundle of myelinated fibres, the corpus callosum. Association areas interpret the input, store the input and initiate a response in light of similar past experience. Thus, the association areas are involved in memory, learning and reasoning.
