Mitochondria: These are the powerhouse of the cell. They assist in presenting strength to the cell. It consists of its own DNA.
Ribosomes: They help in constructing protein and they are present inside the nucleolus which is inner the nucleus. They are also found scattered in the cytoplasm or attached to the endoplasmic reticulum in the cell.
Golgi Bodies: They are like a stack of membranes and they assist in packaging of proteins to ship them out of the cell at their destination.
Lysosomes: They help in digestion of waste material that is found to be located inside the cell and sometimes also play a role in destroying the genetic material of a foreign virus or bacteria.
Cell Wall: It is found in plant cells. It plays a role in preventing the bursting of cells as the cells take up water and also provide the shape to the cell.
Vacuole: It is like a storage bag that is usually found in the cell and helps in storage of food, waste or water in it.
Chloroplast: The cells where processing of plant food takes place are termed as the chloroplast.

So, organelles when present all together function and carry out physiological activities and make a cell alive but then they are present alone they cannot function and thus cannot be called living.

Note: The prokaryotic cell lacks all the membrane bound organelles. The genetic DNA present is found floating in the cytoplasm. They have single stranded circular DNA. They also do not possess a definite nucleus.
