Emf induced across the ends of each spoke

ε=12Bωl2\varepsilon = \frac{1}{2}B\omega l^{2}

=12B(2πυ)l2= \frac{1}{2}B(2\pi\upsilon)l^{2} (ω=2πυ)(\because\omega = 2\pi\upsilon)

=Bπυl2= B\pi\upsilon l^{2}

ε=0.4×104×π×2×(0.8)2\therefore\varepsilon = 0.4 \times 10^{- 4} \times \pi \times 2 \times (0.8)^{2}
