Expense per day = $Rs. \frac{360}{x}$

From the question we know that,

= $(x + 4) (\frac{360}{x} - 3) = 360$

= $360 - 3x + \frac{1440}{x} - 12 = 360$

$- 3x^2 + 1440 - 12x = 0$

$x^2 + 4x - 480 = 0$

= $(x + 24)(x - 20) = 0$

So, the value of $x$ can be - 24 and 20

The number of days cannot be negative so, 20
